Wake Up Weightless

Sometimes you just need to get art out of your head.

I’ve had these songs living in my brain for a long time. Years for some of them.

Over time I’ve reworked and rearranged them mentally. A couple years ago, I finally felt ready to bring them to fruition. The songs were in a place compositionally that felt right, and I was in a place from a technical skill standpoint where I was confident I could execute their recording to my vision.

So I got to work.

And I worked and I worked and I worked. Off and on, for more than two years. I recorded guitars, found synth sounds, experimented with arrangements, recorded vocals, mixed and remixed, mastered and remastered.

And it’s finally done and out in the world. I’m really proud of this EP. It’s the first release from my new alt-rock project, aptly named End Middle Beginning. And it’s the first of many releases that are already in the works.
