Reflect on the Year
It’s easy to always be looking ahead. The next project, the next big idea, the next piece of content to feed the machine.
But as 2025 wraps up, take a moment to reflect.
What did you accomplish this year? What have you accomplished in the past few years? What are you proud of? What didn’t turn out how you hoped?
Most importantly, how have you improved? It’s easy to miss the incremental progress we make in our creative skills.
Revisit something you made a few years ago. You’re probably way better than you were then. You’ve made real progress, and you’re going to keep getting better.
If you made something awesome a few years ago that you haven’t been able to match, let it remind you what you’re capable of. Then eat a bunch of candy and pie and celebrate a new year full of creative potential. You’ve earned it. And you have work to do in 2026.
