Instrumental Versions
Maybe you want some stimulating background music while you work.
Maybe you like to hear the intricate musical arrangements behind the vocals in songs.
Maybe you absolutely hate clever and fun lyrics.
Whatever your reason, you like instrumental music. I do, too. I always like when artists release the instrumental versions of songs for all the reasons above. Besides the hating lyrics one.
I always have music playing in the background while I work or lounge or read or whatever. But I work with words most of my days, so lyrics are a distraction in most of my 9-to-5 window. As a result, I listen to a ton of instrumental music. Much of it is originally written without lyrics, but there’s something both interesting and comforting about hearing the vocal-free version of a song you know well.
So I’ve released two of my recent vocal EPs in instrumental versions: Wake Up Weightless and my children’s music release Music For Moppets. Add them to your favorite instrumental playlists.
